What is the Travel Club membership fee and how often will my credit card be billed?

There are several categories and levels of coverage for each Chevron Travel Club membership plan, each with differing membership fees to choose from. You may choose from four convenient billing options: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. You can use your Chevron and Texaco credit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards.

  • Basic Plan membership starts at $4.25/month.
  • Gold Plan membership starts at $6.00/month.
  • SafeTrek membership starts at $4.50/month.
  • SafeTrek Premier membership starts at $6.75/month.

How can I change the credit card to which my Chevron Travel Club membership fees are billed?

You may use your Chevron and Texaco credit card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards to pay your membership dues. To change your current billing to a different credit card account, contact the Chevron Travel Club at 1-800-222-0585.

Can other family members in my household take advantage of my Chevron Travel Club membership benefits and insurance coverage?

Yes, depending on which type of membership plan you choose and what sort of coverage you select for your Eligible Spouse and Eligible Family Members.

Is the Chevron Travel Club separate from my Chevron and Texaco credit card, and do I need to have a Chevron or Texaco credit card in order to be a Chevron Travel Club member?

No. You do not have to have a Chevron or Texaco credit card account to be a Chevron Travel Club member. You can also use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express card as a payment method.

What travel discounts are members eligible for?

  • All memberships offer preferred car rental discounts with Hertz, National, Avis and Alamo.
  • Gold Plan and SafeTrek Premier members are eligible for lodging, and car rental savings, and can receive special savings on vacation packages and airfares.

How can the Chevron Travel Club assist me in planning my travels?

  • Basic Plan, Gold Plan, SafeTrek and SafeTrek Premier members are eligible for Professional Trip Routing services.
  • Basic Plan, Gold Plan, SafeTrek and SafeTrek Premier members receive a free Road Atlas and Travel Guide.
  • Gold Plan, SafeTrek Premier and Premium Card members enjoy hotel savings.

What kind of roadside assistance does Chevron Travel Club offer Basic Plan members?

For Basic members, dispatch towing and roadside service is available 24 hours a day, anywhere in the United States and Canada. Help is just a toll-free phone call away, where an emergency dispatcher will arrange to have someone sent from the closest participating service provider. Covered vehicles include any vehicle driven by the covered member. The covered member is dependent upon membership type.

Services that are covered include: An attempt to start your vehicle if it’s not starting, changing a flat tire with your inflated spare, delivery of gasoline/diesel fuel if you’ve run out, lockout service if your ignition key is lost, broken, or accidentally locked inside your vehicle. Towing up to 10 miles is free of charge. We also offer a reimbursement option of up to $75 (per occurrence) if members choose to call a towing or emergency roadside service of their choice.

What kind of roadside assistance does Chevron Travel Club offer SafeTrek Premier members?

For SafeTrek Premier members, the member and spouse are covered in any vehicle. Eligible children are covered under the family plan. Emergency dispatch towing and roadside service is available 24 hours a day, anywhere in the United States and Canada. Help is just a toll-free phone call away, where a dispatcher will arrange to send the closest participating service provider to your location.

Services that are covered include: An attempt to start your vehicle if it’s not starting, changing a flat tire with your inflated spare, delivery of gasoline/diesel fuel if you’ve run out, lockout service if your ignition key is lost, broken, or accidentally locked inside vehicle.
